PURPOSE: A semi-mold type automatic contact lens manufacturing system is provided to improve productivity by producing a large amount of precise contact lenses. CONSTITUTION: A semi-mold type automatic contact lens manufacturing system comprises: a lens mold supply device which uniformly arranges a plurality of lend molds in which a contact lens is attached; a contact lens cutting device for processing the contact lens; and a surface polishing device for removing concavity by processing a cut part of the contact lens. A method for manufacturing the contact lens comprises: a step of injecting polymers to a female lens mold(S1); a step of polymerizing the polymers by binding a male lens mold(S2); a step of separating the female lens mold(S3); a step of cutting the outer surface by a shelf(S4); a step of polishing the cut outer surface of the contact lens by an abrasive and abradant(S5); a step of separating the contact lens(S6); and a step of polishing the edge of concave parts(S7).
