PURPOSE: A control method of a mobile terminal in order to predict information of an originator to a receiver through the called number is provided to supply information related to the called number to a portable terminal even though an originating number is not stored in a memory. CONSTITUTION: A control unit receives an originating number(S101). In case the originating number is not stored in a general number storing unit, the control unit calculates similarity about number of the general number storing unit(S102). The control unit displays a similar number list according to a similarity order(S103). If a call is completed, the control unit displays the similar number list(S104). The user stores the originating number to the general number storing unit(S107).
