PURPOSE: An automatic water level measuring device in a vessel tank is provided to measure a length from a measuring reference point to a water surface using a measuring tool after a motor is stopped. CONSTITUTION: An automatic water level measuring device in a vessel tank comprises a water level measuring sensor(100), a motor(200), a controller(300), a measuring tool(410), and a display unit. When the water level measuring sensor is in contact with water, a contact signal is sent to the controller. The motor ascends and descends the water level measuring sensor by winding a wire connected to the water level measuring sensor and the controller. The controller controls the motor by receiving the contact signal from the water level measuring sensor. The measuring tool measures a length from a measuring reference point to a water surface. The display unit displays water level information measured from the measuring tool and the water level measuring sensor.
