AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM FOR HYBRID AUTOMOTIVE VEHICLES

PURPOSE: An air conditioning system for a hybrid vehicle is provided to compensate the temperature drop of the indoor space of the vehicle if the engine stops. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioning system for a hybrid vehicle comprises a heater core(16), a temperature door(30) and a controller. The heater core receives the cooling water from the engine(20) and heats the air in a hot-air passage(10c). The temperature door controls the opening degree of the hot-air passage. If the engine stops by the switching from an engine driving mode to a motor driving mode, the temperature difference of the indoor space due to the temperature decrease of the cooling water of the engine is compensated. The controller corrects the opening angle of the temperature door according to the decreased temperature of the cooling water of the engine.
