A solid glass road stud 1 comprises a flattened dome 7 protruding from an integral rectangular block 2 having flat sides 3 and spherically-curved reflex-reflecting ends 4, the stud being retained in a cast iron casing 16- 17-18 by lips 13 of a resilient mounting member 10-12 having flanges 23 snapped under shoulders 21 of the upstanding side walls 16 of the casing. The reflecting ends 4 of the stud 1 may be coated with vapourised metal. |
