<p>Method, pad and bearing device for oil redistribution. The bearing device includes a ring (42) having at least one retaining head (65), at least one pad (44) disposed inside the ring (42) and having a bottom recess portion (22) configured to receive the at least one retaining head (65), an oil distribution mechanism (64) configured to inject oil at a leading edge (52a) of the at least one pad (44) to flow towards a trailing edge (52b) of the at least one pad (44), and an oil redistribution mechanism (56,80) on the at least one pad (44) configured to redistribute the oil from the trailing edge (52b) of the at least one pad (44) to the leading edge (52a) of the at least one pad (44). The leading edge (52a) is a first edge and the trailing edge (52b) is a second edge of the at least one pad (44) encountered when traveling along a circumference of the ring (42) in a direction of rotation (14) of a rotor (60) supported by the at least one pad (44).</p> |
