[Also in Division H2] The axially movable contact pin 1, e.g. of a high voltage switch, has a plurality of pairs of current collecting rollers 4 surrounding the pin 1 in a cylindrical metal housing 2, the rollers 4 being connected together by compression springs 5 ensuring good contact of the rollers with the pin 1 and housing 2. The whole set of rollers is located in a cage 6, with insulating centring elements 3 below the cage maintaining the axial alignment of the pin 1 in the housing 2. |
