A device for practising putting strokes comprises an elongate member providing a sight line extending above the surface on which practising is carried out, 'the height of the elongate member above the surface being such that a golf ball can be placed under it and the head of a putter moved under the member to strike the ball so that a person using the device can check the movement of the putter head and the ball by reference to the sight line and means for locating a golf ball under the elongate member in a manner such that the sight line extends exactly over the centre of the ball. |
