PURPOSE: A mobile terminal UI recognizing a gesture, and a device for generating gesture signal are provided to offer a UI(User Interface) through a gesture on a space or a screen. CONSTITUTION: A gesture signal generator(1) installed a mobile terminal detects a user's gesture. The gesture signal generating apparatus generates gesture signal corresponding to the gesture, and outputs the gesture signal through local area wireless communication. If an event is generated, the mobile terminal(2) outputs an image corresponding to the event. If the gesture signal is received, the mobile terminal extracts a command corresponding to the gesture signal, and executes the command.
