The method involves providing a support with two three-dimensional molds, and applying a non-woven fiber web or fleece (16) to the three-dimensional molds by non-ordered depositing of fibers on the molds. The pre-formed non-woven fiber web is compacted to produce a three-dimensional felt body (25) after removing the non-woven fiber web from the support, where the non-woven fiber web is compacted by the action of an amorphous medium e.g. fluid or heat, on the non-woven fiber web. An independent claim is also included for a device for manufacturing spatial felt objects i.e. brassiere cups, comprising a support. |
