Method and device for electron beam welding

The system for welding of metal, comprises a chamber system in which welding is carried out through an electron beam (5), where the chamber system is subjected with low pressure (3) and is formed so that it is glided on the surface of the workpiece and so that the formation of a weld seam is carried out through a relative movement. Vacuum is generated by a low pressure in a welding-chamber (1) and in a lock chamber (2) surrounding the welding chamber through the low pressure or in a rotating chamber. The chamber system consists of the welding-chamber and the rotating chamber. The chamber system is pressed through a mechanism on the workpiece and the length deviations are received by a length compensation. A flexible constructed chamber system is adaptable on different workpiece diameter (6).
