<p>PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing carbon nano-tubes is provided to secure average diameters between 9 and 12nm to the carbon nano-tubes using low-purity methane gas as a carbon source gas. CONSTITUTION: Carbon nano-tubes are obtained by reacting a carbon source gas and a metal catalyst. The carbon source gas is based on 80-95 volume% of a methane gas. One or more gas selected from a group including ethane, propane, isopropane, butane, pentane, isopentane, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, and sulfuric compounds are additionally contained in the carbon source gas. The metal catalyst contains one or more selected from a group including iron, nickel, cobalt, palladium, platinum, copper, molybdenum, silver, tungsten, chrome, and iridium.</p> |
