High-capacity low-pressure multi-passage pressure-actuated shut-open air-admission valves mounted between the filter sleeves and a reservoir are controlled by a triple set of pressure-actuated auxiliary valves. The pressure builds up gradually in the reservoir through a feed of fluid at predetermined rate until the preset pressure is reached at which the auxiliary valves mutually respond to open the admission valves.
