Continuous fermentation of molasses and - other alcohol formers

A 1 to 0.1% soln. of an antiseptic is intimately mixed with the whole of the alcohol-forming material. (In certain cases it can be the whole or part of the water of dilution which is treated). Instead of adding leavening agents after the start, the necessary aerobic leaveners are formed during this process.
