<p>Prepn of chloro benzene thiols. .B5-. Comprises adding Zn and a chlorobenzene soln. in chlorosuphuric acid to water or an aq. mineral acid at a temperature of 40-90 degrees C. More specifically, the chlorobenzene sulphenyl chloride soln. may be prepared by the reacn. of chlorobenzene and chlorosulphonic acid and chlorinating the product with e.g. SOCl2, CCl4. Products are inters in prepn. of thioindizo dyes.</p> |
