PURPOSE: A cholesteric liquid crystal display device is provided to reduce surface resistance by forming a first bottom electrode as a carbon nano tube without forming additional light absorption layer. CONSTITUTION: A first bottom electrode(12) is formed in a first lower substrate(11). The first upper plate faces the first lower substrate. A first upper electrode(18) is formed in the first upper substrate. A first panel including a first cholesteric liquid crystal(15) is inserted between the first bottom electrode and the first upper electrode. The upper electrode includes IZO or ITO. The bottom electrode comprises a carbon nano tube. The transmittance of the bottom electrode is composed of 1% to 60%.
