<p>The vehicle has multiple electrical machines (9-12) for driving wheels of a powered bogie in one-to-one correspondence. Multiple power converters (13-16) are operably connected with the electrical machines in one-to-one correspondence so as to assign each wheel to one of the power converters, separately. The bogie includes two wheels positioned opposite to one another and assigned to different rails. A position signal generator or signal generator (26) is assigned to the opposing wheels and/or to the assigned electrical machines for generating an output signal in response to an actual position of the bogie.</p> |
