The prefabricated groove-spring type clamp for dentures eliminates loose connection after prolonged usage, and at the same time allows easy detachment of the connected part to be carried out. The spring part (2) forms an integral part of the male section (I) together with the perpendicular back-up plate (3). The plate (3) has a bore (4) for a clamping screw, while the spring (2) has lateral projections (5) at right angles to it. The female section has a base section with a hole which matches that of one in the back-up plate for accommodating a screw. Two arms extend from the base, and on the inner surface of the arms are respective recesses matching the contours of the projections on the spring. Pref. these projections have a semicircular cross-section. |
