PURPOSE: A monitoring system and method for a hoist and a crane are provided to monitor and display the loaded state and surrounding conditions of a hoist and a crane in real time. CONSTITUTION: A monitoring system for a crane and a hoist comprises a main CPU(10), a property data input unit(20), a data collecting unit(30), and a display unit(40). The main CPU comprises a data computing part(11), a data storage part(12), an output signal conversion part(13), and a signal processing part(14). The property data input unit comprises a power property input part(21), a mechanical property input part(22), a measuring device property input part(23), and a component property data input part(24). The data collecting unit comprises a load rate measuring device(31) which measures a load rate from current and load cell signals and an operating state measuring device(32) which measures an operating state from rotary encoder and current signals. The display unit comprises an input data part(41), a register data display part(42), a state display part(43), and an error message code display part(44). |
