<p>Device (6) comprises: at least two stacked drying surfaces on which sewage sludge can be placed; and a continuous conveyor comprising at least one endless rotating traction means and a driver attached to the traction means for conveying and turning around the sewage sludge, where the driver is movable in a flow direction over the drying surface. The traction means is fed endlessly along the drying surfaces, which moves the driver through several drying surfaces.
