The device (1) has an enclosure (9) formed by a transparent closing glass (3) and a case (2) that encloses a light source (4) e.g. LED. An opening (8) is formed in the enclosure. A ventilation conduit (10) is extended from the opening, where length of the ventilation conduit is greater than 2 cm. The ventilation conduit is closed by a filtering unit (6) i.e. textile membrane, that is impermeable to liquid and dust and permeable to gas. The filtering unit is glued at a free end (12) of the ventilation conduit. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle comprising a signaling and/or lighting device.
