PURPOSE: A bearing device and an oil distribution mechanism and method for the same are provided to prevent the friction between the shaft and the pad of a bearing and the cavitation in a turbine by effectively redistributing oil in the bearing. CONSTITUTION: A bearing device comprises a ring(42), a pad(44), and an oil distribution mechanism. The ring has one or more holding heads. The pad has a bottom recess for receiving the holding heads. The oil distribution mechanism injects oil from the leading edge of the pad to be delivered to the trailing edge and redistributes the oil from the trailing edge to the leading edge of the pad. |
