The invention relates to an installation for electrically patenting and thermo-chemical treatment by electroresistive effect and electroinductive effect, said installation being mounted within a draw-bench for drawing wires having a diameter of 0.5...3 mm. According to the invention, the installation comprises a portion (A) for austenitization and brassing and a portion (B) for pearlite and zinc or chrome coating, consisting of a succession of six ceramic tubes (1 and 1'), assembled in pairs, some lower elbows (3, 3' and 3''), being fastened to a table (4) by means of some thermally and electrically insulating supports (5), and each of the first three upper elbows (2, 6 and 6'') has a pipe (b) for introducing a substance (c and c') for thermo-chemical treatment, in each metal elbow (3, 3', 3'', 2, 6 and 6') there existing a roller (d) mounted on a support-frame, provided with an axle fastened to each of the lower elbows (3, 3' and 3''), for a wire to pass. On each tube (1 and 1'), there is located a heating inductor solenoid (7 and 7'), with induction currents, for each pair of ceramic tubes (1 and 1'), an end (x, y and z) of one of the inductor solenoids (7 and 7') being electrically connected to one of the lower metal elbows (3, 3' or 3'') secured to the support, the inductors (7 and 7') being then serially connected, the other end of a solenoid couple (X', Y' and Z') being connected to the end terminals of the secondary of a reducing power transformer (C), with sliding core and with two sections, one with a higher voltage, for performing the austenitization at a temperature of 950...1100°C and one with lower voltage, for subcritical maintanance in the range of the pearlite transformation at the temperature of 450...550°C, the needed specific intensity of electric current being of 100...300 A.
|
