PURPOSE: An audio synchronization method and an apparatus thereof are provided to perform calculation about a part of recording audio and samples and perform the small amount of calculation. CONSTITUTION: A reference audio is divided in predetermined number of time samples unit on time domain. A plurality of audio frames is generated by division(610). The audio frames are converted in a frequency domain(620). A frequency sample is compared with a recording audio based on the sizes of frequency samples. The reference audio and the recording audio are synchronized according to a comparison result(630).
