A fully functional mobile that can be used on any network, that has a blood sugar testing device integrated with in it. The device incorporates a pen that slides out of the phone housing with cartridges therein to prick the finger, allowing the user to produce a blood sample which is then transferred to a testing strip, the strip may then be fed into the reader part of the device. The cartridges interlock to facilitate disposal and the testing strip is in the form of a credit card comprised of detachable testing strips. The device reminds you when to test blood sugar, and records and monitors the users blood sugar levels, it also alerts the user if levels are critical or when a further reading may need to be taken. The device can alert next of kin by SMS when blood sugar levels have been tested, and at what level they are. A history of blood sugar levels can be transferred to clinicians by USB port, OR memory card/ stick. |
