PURPOSE: An image processing device, a control method thereof, and a memory medium are provided to reduce processing load when transmitting an image data to an image processing unit. CONSTITUTION: A first generating unit(119) generates a plurality of tile images by partitioning an image inputted by an input unit. A second generating unit(121) generates an image packet of a body area and a image packet of a peripheral area. A control unit stores an image packet of the body area and an image packet of a peripheral area, which is generated by the second generating unit, to a recording unit.
