<p>The aluminum composite material for a chassis part of a motor vehicle, comprises an aluminum core alloy layer with single- or double side outer aluminum alloy layers. The aluminum core alloy layer consists of magnesium (3.5-7.0 wt.%), manganese (= 1.0 wt.%), iron (= 0.5 wt.%), silicon (= 0.4 wt.%), copper (= 0.15 wt.%), chromium (= 0.25 wt.%), zinc (= 0.25 wt.%) and titanium (= 0.2 wt.%) and/or residue of aluminum of maximum 0.05% in total maximum 0.15% and the aluminum alloy layer consists of aluminum or aluminum alloy, whose mass loss is 15 mg/cm 2>in a corrosion test. The aluminum composite material for a chassis part of a motor vehicle, comprises an aluminum core alloy layer with single- or double side outer aluminum alloy layers. The aluminum core alloy layer consists of magnesium (3.5-7.0 wt.%), manganese (= 1.0 wt.%), iron (= 0.5 wt.%), silicon (= 0.4 wt.%), copper (= 0.15 wt.%), chromium (= 0.25 wt.%), zinc (= 0.25 wt.%) and titanium (= 0.2 wt.%) and/or residue of aluminum of maximum 0.05% in total maximum 0.15% and the aluminum alloy layer consists of aluminum or aluminum alloy, whose mass loss is 15 mg/cm 2>in a corrosion test. The outer aluminum- or aluminum alloy layer has the alloy components of magnesium (= 1.1 wt.%), manganese (= 2.7 wt.%), iron (= 0.5 wt.%), silicon (= 0.3 wt.%), copper (= 0.2 wt.%), chromium (= 0.15 wt.%), zinc (= 0.25 wt.%) and tin (= 0.2 wt.%). The thickness of the aluminum composite material is of 2.5-4.5 mm. An intermediate layer is formed between the aluminum alloy layer and the aluminum alloy core layer. The layer thickness of the outer aluminum alloy layer is 3-8% of the total thickness of the aluminum composite material. The aluminum composite material is produced by roll bonding or direct casting. The chassis part is axle part, a part of spring, a part of a shock absorber or a part of service brakes of vehicle. An independent claim is included for a method for the production of aluminum composite material.</p> |
