PURPOSE: A vehicle display lamp system and an operation method thereof are provided to reduce the manufacturing cost of the lamp housing by forming the main lamp and the auxiliary lamp as one body. CONSTITUTION: A display lamp part(10) comprises a light emitting diode module in which a plurality of LEDs is arranged. The display lamp part comprises a pair of auxiliary lamps which lights on and off with the predetermined color according to the applied signal. A controller(20) outputs the brake authorization signal or the direction indicator light authorization signal to the display lamp part.
