PURPOSE: An image forming apparatus is provided to maintain the optimum charge neutralizing performance and to arrange an optimum charge electrode when performing the operation of the image forming apparatus. CONSTITUTION: An image carrier(110) is installed in a main body(100). A visible image is formed by electric charge and exposure. A transfer unit(130) is installed to the main body. The transfer unit transfers the visible image to a printing medium. A neutralizing unit(150) is installed to the main body. The neutralizing unit neutralizes the charge which is located in the printing medium.
