PURPOSE: A system and a method for supporting a remote controller for a displaying function key is provided to offer information about an object by matching an object to the remote controller key, and display the key. CONSTITUTION: A profile storage(111) stores profiles in which function and information of the remote controller are included. A receiver(112) receives an input signal from the remote controller, and interprets the meaning of the input signal based on the profile corresponding to the remote controller. An event unit(113) changes the meaning of the input signal into the event type. A presentation unit(114) connects to the web server, and indicates the webpage. The presentation unit changes the event into a predetermined action, and requests an operation according to the action.
