PURPOSE: A composition containing Hura crepitans L. extract for preventing and treating inflammatory diseases is provided to ensure anti-inflammation and anti-asthma without cytotoxicity. CONSTITUTION: A composition for preventing and treating inflammatory diseases contains Hura crepitans L. extract as an active ingredient. The extract is isolated from leaves, stems, roots of Hura crepitans L. using water, low alcohol of C1-C4, mixture solvent thereof. An external use skin formulation, cosmetic composition, or health food for preventing and treating inflammatory diseases contains Hura crepitans L. extract as an active ingredient.
