PURPOSE: A smart card embedded in a portable wireless device and an operation method thereof are provided to enable a USIM chip to sense whether information stored inside the USIM chip is changed or not by oneself. CONSTITUTION: An event sensing unit(10) applies set value which is changed and read from a storage unit(130) to a SMS generating unit(140). The event sensing unit updates the changed set value as a final set value. An RF communication unit(120) transmits payment amount information to an external payment unit. The RF communication unit transmits SMS information which is transmitted to the SMS generating unit to the content providing server.
