PURPOSE: An electronic coupon service providing system using a smart card and a method thereof are provided to enable a user to conveniently utilize an electronic coupon service by enabling a user to use a smart cart without using a paper coupon. CONSTITUTION: A helper smart card(130) stores authentication information of a helper and qualification information of the helper. A target person smart card(140) stores authentication information of a service target. A portable service terminal(110) sequentially or simultaneously recognize the helper smart card and the target smart card. The portable service terminal authenticates the helper and the target person. A payment server(120) performs payment about an electronic coupon service. |
