FIELD: transport. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to electric transport industry, and can be used in overhead catenaries of overhead system of electric railways. Dropper for attaching the contact wire to carrying cable is made of polyimide twisted plain-laid rope. One end of polyimide rope is made so that it can be connected to contact wire by means of dropper clip through thimble, and the other end can be connected to carrying cable by means of loop assembly. Dropper is equipped with adjusting clamp installed in its middle part to adjust the length of the latter. Adjusting clamp can be made of galvanised or copper-clad steel wire with diametre of 3-4 mm. ^ EFFECT: simplifying the design and installation of dropper, as well as enlarging its service life. ^ 2 cl, 2 dwg |
