FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine and can be used in its various field for estimation of pain tolerance degree. Kuznetsov's applicator, on which tonometre cuff is applied, is installed on region of forearm, air pumping is stopped by patient's command, after which it is released from cuff. Moment when expressed pain sensations are achieved is taken for threshold of pain intolerance, with fixation of pressure value on manometre and pain level on visual-analogue scale, marked by patient. Value of pain intolerance threshold is determined in conventional units (c.u.) by ratio of value of pressure fixed on manometre to pain level on scale. If this index is lower than 20 c.u., degree of pain tolerance is estimated as bad, 21-30 c.u. - as normal, 31-40 c.u. - as good, higher than 40 c.u. - as very good. ^ EFFECT: method extends arsenal of means for estimation of pain tolerance degree. ^ 1 tbl, 1 ex |
