FIELD: power industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: operating method of thermal power plant, according to which steam is generated in boiler, steam is supplied to turbines, mechanical energy of shaft rotation of steam turbine is transmitted to rotor of turbine generator, constant cooling of winding and steel of turbine generator is performed by circulation of cooling hydrogen through their inner space, hydrogen is cooled in gas-water cooler with circulation water, circulation water prior to supply to gas-water cooler is cooled in addition by extracting some portion of heat with heat pump, heat extracted with heat pump is used to cover the load of heating system of the main housing of the thermal power plant. ^ EFFECT: improving economy of thermal power plant owing to reducing heat losses of windings and steel of turbine generator, owing to reducing the costs for heating system of the main housing, and improving reliability of thermal power plant owing to improved cooling of hydrogen of turbine generators. ^ 1 dwg |
