<p>Provided is a ceiling-mounted type air-conditioner that can be used even in a low power capacity environment. The ceiling-mounted type indoor air-conditioner determines whether or not a command for lowering a flat panel has been given by operation of a remote control (S1). Then, when a command to lower has been given (S1: Yes), whether or not air-conditioning operation (an indoor fan is operating) is in progress is determined (S2). Then, when the air-conditioning operation is in progress (S2: Yes), the air-conditioning operation (operation of the indoor fan) is stopped, and a hoisting motor is then controlled to start lowering of the flat panel (S3). In this case, the operation of the indoor fan is stopped during the sequence of operations beginning with closing of an intake port of the flat panel until it is lowered. In contrast to this, when the air-conditioning operation is already stopped (S2: No), lowering of the flat panel is started while leaving the indoor fan (13) stopped (S4).</p> |
