Method for detection and characteristic of amyloid fibrils includes titration of fluorescent probe with solution of protein fibrillar aggregates under investigation, registration of spectra of fluorescence of solution of protein fibrillar aggregates obtained, mathematical processing of spectral data and plotting isotherm of probe binding to protein aggregates. As fluorescence probe one uses compound of 3-morpholino-7Н-benzo[de]antracene-7-one (ABM). Characteristic of amyloid fibrils is carried out by coefficient of distribution og ABM to protein phase, respective quantum output, maximum of intensity of fluorescence at different wavelengths of excitation waves, and determination of fractal dimension of protein aggregates and micro-surrounding of probe in amyloidal structures. |
