METHOD FOR OPEN-PIT DEVELOPMENT OF STEEP MINERAL DEPOSITS

In a method of open pit development of steep mineral deposits the formation of working zone of the pit is performed with diagonal blocks, this provides selective mining of overburden rocks and the mineral. Selective mining of rock mass being extracted is performed through advance stripping and cleaning with overburden diagonal blocks of contact of hanging wall of mineral layer by length. At side of contact of lying wall of layer of mineral with dead rocks front of mining works by overburden rocks is separated from diagonal product block of by value. Working out of product block is performed in direction from hanging to lying wall of the mineral layer.
