The apparatus (1) for handling a flexible pouch (2) has a receptacle (5) for the pouch (2), and the receptacle is equipped with a retaining means (6) to be engaged with the pouch (2) in both the sides. An adjuster (25) for permitting the retaining means (6) to be adapted to pouches of different sizes is provided in order to use this apparatus also to the pouch of different sizes in a simple structure.
