<p>Disclosed is a ceiling-mounted air conditioner which continues an air-conditioning operation even if a command for lowering an elevating/lowering panel is issued by an erroneous operation during the air-conditioning operation. An indoor unit of the ceiling-mounted air conditioner determines whether a command for lowering a flat panel has been issued by operating a remote controller or not (S1), and determines whether the air-conditioning operation is stopping or not (S2) if the command for lowering has been issued (S1: Yes). If the air-conditioning operation is stopping (S2: Yes), a sound for informing the reception of the command for lowering is outputted from a speaker (S3), and the lowering of the flat panel is started (S4). In contrast, if the air-conditioning operation is not stopping (S2: No), a sound for informing the fact that the command for lowering is not received is outputted from the speaker (S5), and the command for lowering is neglected and the lowering of the flat panel is not started.</p> |
