PURPOSE: An electronic watt-hour meter for preventing fire by detecting a temperature is provided to generate a warning signal, display a warning signal on an LCD screen, or transmit a remote signal to an upper meter system to prevent a load or/and block an over current when an abnormal temperature is detected, thereby preventing fire in advance. CONSTITUTION: A current detecting unit(22) includes a power source circuit(11) and a power interruption compensation unit(12). The power source circuit supplies power to drive an electronic watt-hour meter. The power interruption compensation unit supplies backup power for storing data measured during power interruption. The current detecting unit detects currents of a power supply unit(10) and a power line. A voltage detecting unit(21) detects a phase voltage of the power line.
