A method of electroerosive machining cavities by electric arc includes pumping fluid into an electrode gap edge under technological pressure in the direction from the periphery to the center of tool electrode. Treatment is carried out in three stages: at the first stage the process current is smoothly increased from zero to a value corresponding to the roughing level. At the second stage high-performance roughing of main volume is carried out. At the third stage the process current is decreased stepwise to the level of finishing with a number of transitions that corresponds to the least time of transient mode and is calculated by a formula. |
