PURPOSE: A locking apparatus for a vehicle is provided to increase the coupling force between a pole and a shaft by forming a coupling member with a tension unit. CONSTITUTION: A shaft is fixed to one end of a door latch. A catch is formed on the other end of the door latch. The shaft is inserted into an engaging hole. A pole is engaged with the catch to control rotation of the catch. A coupling member(200) is inserted into the engaging hole. A cylindrical inserting unit is inserted into the engaging hole. A tension unit is inclined on one end of the inserting unit.
