PURPOSE: A safety check-up apparatus for a steel box slab section of a bridge is provided to accurately measure the settlement or distortion of a bridge caused by upper structures of the bridge. CONSTITUTION: A safety check-up apparatus for a steel box slab section of a bridge comprises a pier fixing unit(20), slab contact units(30), a curved spring(40), and a shock-absorbing unit(50). The pier fixing unit includes a fixing unit connecting part which is fixed to the top of a pier(100) using a coupler and a spring fixing part which receives and fixes an end of the curved spring. The slab contact units are respectively located on both lower sides of a bridge slab(200), and slab contact units comprise contact member mounting grooves in which contact members are installed to contact the bridge slab and rotate and a contact member fixing part which is fixed to an end of the curved spring with a coupler. The curved spring is connected between the spring fixing part of the pier fixing unit and the contact member fixing part of the slab contact unit The shock-absorbing unit is symmetrically installed on the top of the pier, separate from the pier fixing unit, and has a spring connector and a buffer spring. |
