PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize a creasing position by reducing the displacement of the position of a pre-made crease for each sheet. SOLUTION: This creasing device 200 for creasing sheets one by one by a creasing part 210 provided to the former stage of a paper processing device for performing folding treatment includes a paper detection sensor 230 for detecting the position of a sheet S and paper conveying rollers 240, 250 which are disposed on the upstream side and the downstream side of the creasing part 210 in the paper conveying direction, respectively, and which convey and hold the sheet. The front end of the sheet is fixed by the second paper conveying roller 250. The first paper conveying roller 240 moves the sheet in the direction for extending the deflection of the sheet to eliminate the deflection of the sheet.
