PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner, capable of restricting increase in ventilation resistance due to attachment of dust at the front of an intake part of an electric blower, and maintaining high suction performance. SOLUTION: A dust collection bag non-ventilation part 60 is provided at least in part of a dust collection bag 4. A non-ventilation part 71 to protrude at a center in a crest form toward the intake port 10 is provided at a part facing an intake port 10 in the vicinity of a ventilation passage extending from a dust chamber to a motor chamber. Air sucked from the intake port 10 into the dust collection bag 4 is dispersed in all the upper, lower, right, left and all circumferential directions in the dust collection bag 4, and it is also rotated along the inner surface of the dust collection bag 4 toward the intake port 10. Dust is thus hard to attach to a ventilation part of the dust collection bag 4 positioned close to the intake part of the electric blower, increase in ventilation resistance due to attachment of dust at the front of the intake part of the electric blower is restricted, and high suction performance is maintained in the vacuum cleaner.
