PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-shielding blade member which is manufacturable by simple working and capable of reducing the occurrence of unwanted reflection on an end face parallel with an optical axis of the light shading blade member and deterioration of quality of image including flares, ghosts or the like. SOLUTION: A light quantity adjusting device for adjusting light quantity by rotating a plurality of light-shielding blade members like plate and changing the amount of opening includes the light shading blade end face 1g formed to be parallel with the optical axis in a part, corresponding to the inner periphery of an opening for allowing the light in the light shading blade member pass through it and a slope part 1f formed to tilt for the optical axis and extend from the light-shielding blade end face 1g.
