PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of conveying a recording medium capable of shortening a time for setting the recording medium. SOLUTION: Since the outer diameter of the recording medium can be estimated using a first roller and a second roller, and the skew of the recording medium can be eliminated using a third roller and a fourth roller, the estimation of the outer diameter of the recording medium and the elimination of the skew thereof can be consecutively performed by a single operation.
