PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera system enabling a user to easily know what kind of interchangeable lens is required in order to take a photograph satisfactorily. SOLUTION: The camera body includes: a display means 120 configured to display an image based on image data; an effect designation means configured to designate an effect to be given to the image data; an image processing means 140 configured to perform image processing to the image data based on the designated effect; a storage means 140 configured to store names and characteristic information of a plurality of interchangeable lenses; and a control means 140. The control means 140 allows the display means 120 to display one of the names of the plurality of interchangeable lenses stored in the storage means 140 with the image based on the image data to which the image processing is performed based on the image data to which the image processing is performed and the characteristic information of the plurality of interchangeable lenses stored in the storage means 140.
